Australian Broadcasting Corporation - London Office
In August 2011 Gencom New Zealand partnered with Noiz to relocate the London news bureau for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC). Gencom's UK representative and business development manager Bob Nicholas worked closely with Noiz in decommissioning the original Portland Place facility and then the design and build of a new premises. Located on the 2nd floor of 4 Millbank, Westminster, where a number of other high profile news agencies (BBC, SKY) are also based.
The facility included a HD/SDI-ready video backbone throughout, a radio studio, edit suite, voice over booth and news room offices, all equipped for streaming and multi platform sharing. In the same offices the London branch of TV New Zealand also resides.
